The problem
For large wholesale orders you often want a deposit up front and the balance on terms. Configuring deposits per company alongside custom terms is not straightforward natively.
The fix
Set an optional deposit percentage per company. At online B2B checkout the deposit is collected up front and the remainder follows the net term. On draft orders the deposit is recorded for your back-office process.
